2010 Anglican Use Conference
2010 Anglican Use Conference
ANGLICAN MAPS TO ROME
An annual gathering of Anglican and Catholic clergy and laity examining the means available to Episcopal and Anglican individuals and congregations to fulfill our Lords’s call “that they all may be one” in the Catholic Church.
This year’s AU Conference was held in the Newark New Jersey June 10-12, 2010.
We are very grateful to Archbishop Myers, the Ecclesiastical Delegate to the Pastoral Provision for hosting this conference and for graciously providing the Archdiocesan facilities and the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart for our Liturgies. Speakers included Sister Elaine from All Saints Sister of the Poor, a community of former Episcopal nuns received into the Catholic Church in September of last year; Dr. William Oddie, former editor of the Catholic Herald in London and author of many books; Bishop Juan Ignacio Arrieta, secretary of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts; and Dr. Anne Barbeau Gardiner, Professor Emerita of English at John Jay College of the City University of New York and a contributing editor of the New Oxford Review.
